About DUX
A digital dental design service, run by dentists, for dentists
What DUX does
DUX DSGN designs dental implant surgical guides for dental professionals. Practices send us their CBCT scan and intraoral scans; we plan the implant positions and design the guide around the case, and return it as a print-ready STL file.
We design single implant guides, multiple implant guides, full-arch guides including All-on-4 and All-on-6, and stackable guides for multi-stage treatment. Guides can be tooth-supported, tissue-supported or bone-supported, for pilot-drill or fully guided protocols. Written radiology reports are a service currently in preparation.
DUX is founded and run by dentists, and the design work is done by dentists rather than passed to CAD technicians working from a written prescription. That is the difference the company was built around: the person deciding where an implant sits understands what the guide has to achieve at the chair.
Dentists, not draughtsmen
Most outsourced guide design is done by CAD technicians working from a written prescription. Ours is done by licensed dentists. The person deciding where an implant sits understands the clinical decision behind it, not only the geometry of it.
Reviewed before you pay
Every case is checked by a DUX dentist before an invoice is raised. If a scan cannot be planned from, we say so and reject the case rather than take payment and discover it later. You are never charged for work we cannot do.
A design, delivered
You receive the treatment plan as a PDF to review first. Once you approve it, the complete guide design is released as print-ready STL files, ready for your printer, your lab, or the milling centre you already use. DUX does not print guides.
Wherever you practise
The whole service is digital and remote — cases are submitted, reviewed, approved and delivered through this website. There is nothing to ship and no time zone that rules a practice out. Correspondence is in English.
How a case runs
You submit the case
Upload the CBCT as DICOM and your scans as STL, mark the implant positions, and tell us anything the designer should know.
We review it before you pay
A DUX dentist checks the case can be designed from what you sent. If it can, you are invoiced; if it cannot, we tell you why and you are not charged.
We plan and design
Implant positions, angulation and depth are planned around your case, and the guide is designed to match.
You approve the plan
The treatment plan arrives as a PDF for you to check. Send it back with comments if it is not right.
You receive the files
Once approved, the complete guide design is released as print-ready STL, typically within 3–5 business days of approval.
