Password & security

Changing your password, resetting a forgotten one, and keeping the account safe.

Changing your password

Sign in, open your profile, and use the password section. You will need your current password to set a new one.

If you have forgotten it

  1. On the sign-in page, choose Forgot password.
  2. Enter your email address. If an account exists, a reset link is sent to it.
  3. Open the link and choose a new password. Reset links expire after an hour.

The reset page deliberately gives the same response whether or not an account exists for that address. That is intentional — it stops the form being used to work out who has an account.

Good practice

  • Use a password unique to DUX, not one reused from another service.
  • Verify your email address so account-recovery works when you need it.
  • Patient scans are health data. Sign out on shared machines.
